Pride of the Southland Marching Band

Event Information:
–Open to the first 300 High School students who are currently Sophomores, Juniors, or *Seniors*.
*Preference given to Seniors who are planning to attend UT in the fall.
-This is open to woodwinds / brass / color guard / majorettes / percussion (snare/tenors/basses/cymbals only – no front ensemble)

-Meet the students, staff, and faculty of the “Pride of the Southland” Band
-Visit the Natalie L. Haslam Music Center and band facilities
-Perform school songs with members of the Pride of the Southland Marching Band at the annual UT Orange and White Game
-$40 Registration fee (paid online-non refundable) includes T-Shirt, music, box lunch, and instruction.
-All students must be able to read music and be able to physically walk from the music building to the stadium and into the stands
-Deadline to register is April 1 (open to the first 300 sophomores/juniors/seniors) or until filled.
Students must bring:
-We will communicate gameday information via Email (check spam)
-Own instrument/equipment (drum sticks, mouthpiece, etc.)
-Own music lyre (we will provide music online and a flip folder/music at registration on April 11)
-Black shorts (warm weather) or Jeans (cool weather). A T-shirt will be provided.
-Sunscreen/Hat
-Money for concessions (optional)
Gameday Parking:
There will be some parking at the lot located immediately behind the Natalie Haslam Music Center (Lot 23), but this will be on a first-come-first-served basis. There will be other lots available on gameday. Most gameday info can be found BY CLICKING HERE
