The Volunteer Pre-Contest Clinic is an exciting opportunity for MS and HS concert bands to perform in the beautiful auditorium in the Student Center at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Ensembles will have a 15-20 minute performance slot followed by a hands on rehearsal clinic with two outstanding music educators. This is a non-rating format festival with a focus on student achievement and growth! The event will take place on campus on Tuesday, February 21. Call the band office at 865-974-5031 to bring your band!

2023 Color Guard Auditions: We are hosting an audition day exclusively for color guard members!! Whether you are an incoming freshman or a current UT student, come be a part of the Pride Family! New this year, we are also holding auditions for a rifle line. Info can be found in the Color Guard page. The audition is APRIL 2.

2023 Pride Auditions: We want you in the Pride of the Southland Band!! We are scheduling auditions NOW for Feb. 11 & 18 (music majors/minors) and Feb. 18 & 25 (non-music majors). A link can be found under Prospective Students > Auditions or contact us at 865-974-5031 or utband@utk.edu. Auditions are easy. No scales/sight reading, just 2 short contrasting excerpts.

2023 Majorette Auditions: We will have our LIVE auditions on Saturday, April 1 for the 2023 Pride of the Southland Majorette Line. Deadline to apply is March 24. For more information and the application go to the Current Students > Majorette Auditions
